Make Imoseyama or Yakanbe

Start with folding the square that has been circled to make a crane.

Make a star-shape like this picture.
Then make a bird-base so that the yellow lines are changed to wings.

Fold the paper and make a bird-base.

The bird-base is finished.
(6)
Fold each of the head/tail to the center.
(7)
Fold them like this picture.
(8)
Raise the two head/tail.
The first crane is finished.

Then make the other square.

Make a star-shape like this picture.
Then make a bird-base so that the yellow lines are changed to wings.

First, fold the right head/tail to the center.
By folding the right side, it will get easier to fold.

When folding the head/tail on the back side, fold it while making space like this picture.

Fold the head/tail like this picture.

Then fold the other head/tail to the center.
Before folding it, fold the completed crane a little in half.

Fold the completed crane like this picture.
By folding the crane in half, it will get easier to fold the head/tail.

After folding the other head/tail, raise the two head/tail.

Raise them like this picture.
All the cranes are finished.
Then make each beak while referencing the pictures below.
If you make Imoseyama, make each beak so that two cranes face in the same direction.
If you make Yakanbe, make each beak so that two cranes face in the different direction.

Finally, spread wings while pinching both sides that has been circled.
Imoseyama and Yakanbe are complete!
