Renzuru means connected-cranes which are made of only one paper without glue and tape.

The book was published in 1797.
There are 49 kinds of Renzuru in the book.
On this page, there are five steps for beginner in Renzuru.
I will introduce how to fold a basic crane, easy models, etc.

By making creases before cutting a paper,
It will get easier to make Renzuru neatly and connecting parts will get harder to tear.
In this step, fold a crane after making creases.
【Renzuru】Imoseyama&Yakanbe
Then make Renzuru – Imoseyama or Yakanbe!
Imoseyama and Yakanbe are the easiest models of 49 kinds of Renzuru.
【Original model】Temusubi
Then make Temusubi which is an original model of this site.
A connecting part is shorter than Imoseyama and Yakanbe.
However, it is easy to make this model!
【Renzuru】Ehiroi
Make Ehiroi
In the last step, fold Ehiroi which is one of 49 kinds of Renzuru.
This model is connected to each other with beaks.
Therefore, it is harder than Temusubi!
