Make Hanami-guruma
Make a new crease
In case of making a model which is connected to each other with wings such as Hanami-guruma,
make a bird-base while making a new crease near a connecting part.
By making a new crease, it will get harder to put pressure on connecting parts.
On the other page – “How to fold Temusubi”, there is how to make a new crease.
Please make a new crease while referencing that page.

Start with folding a small square.
Make a star-shape like this picture.
Then make a bird-base so that the yellow lines are changed to wings.

Make a new crease like the dotted line.

After making a new crease, make a bird-base.

The bird-base is finished.

Fold each of the head/tail to the center.

Raise them like this picture.
The first small crane is finished.

The crane is connected to the other square like this picture.

In order to get easier to fold the other crane, spread the wings of the completed crane.

Then fold the square that has been circled to make a crane so that a wing is connected to the big square as well.

The second small crane is finished.
In order to get easier to fold the other crane, spread the wings of the completed crane.

Then fold the big square.
Make a star-shape like this picture.
Then make a bird-base so that the yellow lines are changed to wings.
When folding the big square, make a bird-base without making a new crease.
(Make a bird-base using the creases that you have made as it is.)

Fold each of the head/tail to the center.

All the cranes are finished.

Spread the wings of the big crane and make each beak so that all the cranes face in the same direction.

The small cranes wouldn’t face in the same direction as the big crane.
Therefore, pinch the connecting part in the direction of the arrows to adjust the direction of the small crane.

After pinching the connecting part, the small crane would face in the same direction as the big crane.
Pinch the other connecting part in the same way to adjust the direction of the other small crane.
Hanami-guruma is complete!
