Make Hyotan-machi
Make a crane and then revert it back to a square
In this model, there are connecting parts on the different parts from other models.
The more you complete cranes, the smaller it get space to make a crane.
Also, it get easier to put pressure on connecting parts.
Therefore, repeat steps which you make a crane and then revert it back to a square.
After making the 4th crane, complete each crane again.

In the order of the arrow, make a crane and then revert it back to a square.
After making 4th crane, don’t revert it back to a square.

Start with folding the bottom left square.
In order to get easier to fold a crane, make a mountain-fold on the dotted line.

Make a mountain-fold like this picture.

Make a star-shape like this picture.
Then make a bird-base so that the yellow lines are changed to wings.

This picture is halfway through.

The bird-base is finished.

Fold each of the head/tail to the center.

After folding the two head/tail, raise them while referencing the next step.

When raising a head/tail, raise it along tips of connecting parts so that connecting parts don’t tear.
(don’t raise it all the way as usual)
The part which is shown by the yellow arrow get longer than usual because you raise a head/tail along tips of connecting parts.

The first crane is finished.

Revert the crane back to a bird-base and spread the paper.

Then fold the square which has been circled.
Before that, make a mountain-fold on the dotted line.
