How to fold Yumeno-kayoizi

(20)
Then fold the other square.

(21)
Fold four corners to the center point like this picture.

Then fold the paper on the eight creases around in order to make a star-shape. (Make valley-folds on the eight creases around.)

(22)
Make valley-folds like this picture.

Then rotate the completed crane to the left or right.
(Rotate the completed crane 45 degrees in the direction which you can move without force.)

(23)
I rotated 45 degrees to the right.

Then make a bird-base so that the part which has been circled is changed to a wing.

(24)
Make a bird-base while moving the completed crane in the direction of the arrow.
When moving the completed crane, move the crane while rotating the crane 45 degrees more in the same direction as the 22th step.

Connecting parts tear easily.
Therefore, move the crane carefully.

(25)
This picture is halfway through.

Move the completed crane so that connecting parts are at the point which has been circled.

(26)
After making a bird-base, the completed crane would be covered with one side of the bird-base.
(In this picture, the completed crane is covered with the left side of the bird-base.)

Then fold the head/tail, which has not covered the completed crane, to the center first.
(I will fold the right head/tail to the center first.)

(27)
Pinch the head/tail in the direction of the arrows and fold it to the center.

(28)
After folding the head/tail, raise it.

Connecting parts tear very easily.
Therefore, raise the head/tail carefully.

(29)
Raise it like this picture.

(30)
Then pinch the other head/tail in the direction of the arrows and fold it to the center.

(31)
After folding the head/tail, raise it.

Connecting parts tear very easily.
Therefore, raise the head/tail carefully.

(32)
Raise it like this picture.
All the cranes are finished.

(33)
Rotate cranes in the direction which you can move without force so that the cranes face in the same direction.

If you try to make creases at the circled part, connecting parts will tear.
Therefore, try not to make creases at the part.

(34)
Finally, make beaks so that cranes face in the same direction and spread wings.

(35)
This is an enlarged picture of the connecting parts.
