How to fold Haruno-akebono

Make creases

Squares, which you have made diagonal creases, will be made to small cranes.

In each of the “A” square, make basic-creases.

In the “B” square, make inside-blintz-crane-creases.

In the “A” squares, make basic-creases which are the green lines and the blue lines in this picture.

In the “B” square, make inside-blintz-crane-creases which are the green lines and the blue lines in this picture.

This picture is taken after making creases in each yellow square.

Please make sure whether there are the creases, which are the green lines and the blue lines in the previous picture or the 2 pictures ago, in each yellow square.

Cut the paper

Cut your paper after making creases!

The diagram that I changed lines.

If you make this model while folding a paper along the right and left dotted lines, it will get harder to make it.
Therefore, cut the paper on the right and left dotted lines as well.

Cut the paper while referencing the diagram.

This is an enlarged picture.

The yellow lines show the center line of each paper.

The length of the right cut is half of a small paper.
The length of the left cut is three eighth of a small paper.

Make sure the direction of each crane

Make cranes so that the orange lines are changed to wings.


After making sure the direction of each crane, make the model – Haruno-akebono.
