Preparation of an origami paper
【Size】
a 26x26cm paper or it is bigger than 26cm.
【Kinds】
・Basic origami paper
・Double sided origami paper
・Washi paper
I made this model with a 26x26cm basic origami paper.
If you use a big paper, it will get easier to make this model.
In order to draw lines, prepare a pencil and a ruler as well!
(1)
Draw lines like this picture.
(2)
“a” is two fifth of the length.
“b” is one fifth of the length.
If the length is 26cm,
“a” is 26÷5×2=10.4cm
“b” is 26÷5=5.2m
If the length is 25cm,
“a” is 25÷5×2=10cm
“b” is 25÷5=5cm
(3)
After drawing lines, cut the paper on the blue line.
(4)
Cut the paper like this picture.
(5)
Next steps are making creases at the blue lines.
(6)
Fold the bottom to each line that you have drawn.
(7)
Fold the bottom to the second line from the top like this picture.
(8)
Fold the bottom to the first line from the top like this picture.
(9)
Then rotate the paper 180 degrees.
(10)
After rotating the paper, fold the bottom to the first crease from the top.
(11)
Fold the paper like this picture.
(12)
Then fold the bottom to the crease that you have made in the previous step.
(13)
Fold the paper like this picture.
(14)
After spreading the paper, it looks like this picture.
